Croissants? Oui! But Café Carmel balances its sweet treats with healthful fare; provides reward deals for customers
As the new year rolls out, it’s a given that Carmel’s go-to bakery-cafe will celebrate National Croissant Day.
The flaky, buttery, decadent French classic is a mainstay at Café Carmel and will be the featured attraction during the holiday on Monday, Jan. 30. But for those who want to stick to a certain New Year’s resolution to eat more healthfully, Café Carmel offers a bounty of farm-fresh salads and vegetarian/vegan options. With the health and wellbeing of its customers at heart, the downtown cafe also provides gluten-free and non-dairy delicacies.
Café Carmel also sweetens the deal for return visits. Customers holding Reward Cards receive a free coffee beverage for every 10 purchased.
Owner Sarah Cook has launched a second promotion to reward return visits. Customers may place any order of $10 or more before 11 a.m. and receive a promotional card to come back the same day between 3-5 p.m. to receive 25 percent off their entire order.
