Café Carmel celebrates third anniversary March 3 with promotions, activities and ribbon-cutting ceremony

CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA, Calif., — They say good things come in threes, and that adage will certainly ring true for at least one hungry customer at Café Carmel on the third day of March.

The third customer to enter the popular downtown gathering spot will earn a free breakfast, documented with a photo taken for social media.

Also on March 3, Café Carmel celebrates its third anniversary with a special gathering from 5-7 p.m. Guests can savor small bites, meet Cafe Carmel owner Sarah Cook and her team, as well as the cafe’s resident artists Edi and Marie Claire.

The event is free and open to the public and members of the media.

The cafe’s charity partner Peace of Mind Dog Rescue will be outside, on hand, with adorable, adoptable dogs eagerly awaiting a loving home.

Guests will also have the opportunity to create a custom recipe card with one of Cook’s favorite recipes.

To mark the third anniversary, the Carmel and Monterey Peninsula chambers will conduct a special ribbon cutting ceremony.

Café Carmel will conduct the following promotions in March:

  • Follow Café Carmel throughout the month on Facebook and Instagram for trivia contests, with winners receiving gift certificates.
  • Order through ChowNow online March 3rd through March 13th  and receive 30 percent on every online order.
  • In appreciation for its customers, the cafe will offer double punches on loyalty cards to all email subscribers.
  • The cafe will showcase frequent customers on its social media platform as a special thank-you for their patronage.
