Family-run Café Carmel taking Pre-Thanksgiving orders for pies, breads, cookies, and more

While Thanksgiving gatherings may be smaller this year, Café Carmel wants to make sure our holiday tables still groans with goodies.

Keeping alive a tradition that dates back to 1952 with the opening of iconic Wishart Bakery, new cafe owner Sarah Cook will heat up her ovens to create a bevy of baked goods for the holiday season.

Located in the heart of the village on Ocean Avenue, Café Carmel is now taking Thanksgiving orders for pies, breads, cookies and cheesecakes.

Cook took over the historic 1920s building in July 2019, and has transformed it into a village gathering spot, serving both sweet and savory delicacies. Creating a family atmosphere, Cook has expanded the menu, offering breakfast, lunch, and brunch.
